Updates at Live Journal:

ljwave

With the Photo Bucket integration, now you can access all your photos without leaving Live Journal ๐Ÿ™‚

“What’s In a Name?” section located on the home page at Live Journal is pretty cool. Ever thought you have the very worst username? Find recently discarded usernames here for your Journal ๐Ÿ™‚

Join in on the Global dialogue at Global Views to discuss news and current events with Journalists from LJ International Partner Newspapers.

The biggest new info at present at LJ is there piece on Internet Safety called keeping your Journal Safe. A must read as the virus weirdness keeps on coming.

With 19.2 million journals and communities created since 1999, there is always something new at Live Journal ๐Ÿ™‚

Facebook:

Everyone seems to be going Facebook crazy and they either like the updated “real time” streams or they do not ๐Ÿ™‚ The real time stream of posts from your friends and connections has arrived so take a minute to control your streams if it get’s to be to “Twitter-esque” for you by adjusting the filters to the left on your log in home page or visit http://Facebook.com/sitetour/homepage_tour.php which is the link also on your log in Facebook home page. You have more control than you would think with these newest updates. You can control what friend streams and info you will actually see on your home page.

Publishing your own updates has gotten super simple with this new Facebook. Prompting in applications for instance as you send “virtual gifts”ย  to your friends to then publish this message in not only your profile and home pages, but also your friends ๐Ÿ™‚

Keeping track of birthdays was always fairly easy at Facebook, but now the What’s Going On Today area on the right hand top of your home page keeps you in the know about the events and birthdays today!

What this new streaming actually does is electrify the Google meter over at Facebook. With so many streams of so much of what’s going on, constantly publishing, it is very like merging Twitter, Facebook, Internet Gaming, with linkage and feeds from Blogs, Digg, the whole “All Roads Lead to Rome” theory … well, now, All Roads Lead to and From Facebook which then energizes the Google Ratings because of the amount of visible traffic (posting, publishing, sending of application invites, news, blog posts, feeds, etc.) Facebook has “Lit Up” the Internet sky when they switched on this newness ๐Ÿ™‚

Interactivity, friending, groups, Vox Hunt Challenges, Team Vox News, and Questions of the Day to prompt you out of any writers block that you may have. Keeping up with the Vox Team is as easy as visiting the Team.Vox.com site ๐Ÿ™‚

Blogger News:

Straight from Buzz.Blogger.com comes news of the Plinky prompts to alleviate the craziness of Bloggers Block or more commonly refered to as writers block ๐Ÿ™‚ Plinky gives you a prompt to write (much like the Question of the Day over at Vox:) A question or challenge for you to answer and actually Share your Media on Facebook and Twitter!!!

Blog Spot:

Under Services, When You Go To Add Your

Blogspot Blog it will look

like this: http://www.blogger.com/profile/ (SPACE

HERE)

In this space will be put a very long number. You

will find this

number by going to your visitors view of your

front page of your

personal blog, then click under the “About Me”

section “View My

Complete Profile” This will take you to the profile

page about you.

While viewing this, look up in the address bar of

your browser

window. Here you will see this

http://www.blogger.com/profile

(NUMBERS HERE) Copy ONLY the numbers and

paste them into the (SPACE

HERE) Area of your MYBlogLOG Page under the

services area.

Another tip for when you are getting up and

running is to go and

visit everyone on our team, friend them, and then

click on their

individual blog sites links under their profile, this

will allow

you to join their communities. Then, they will join

your blog

community too. Each seperate blog you submit,

will create a

community for that blog owned by you. If we all

join each others

communities…Cool Beans! The communities will

grow and we will

attract others to them…ATTRACTION MARKETING!

See? Cool!

Be sure to sign up for TWITTER! Every post you

then make on the

“Cartoon Bubble” at TWITTER gets shown on ALL

of your friends

pages. You will begin to notice as you get friends

that post on all

of their sites, that all of the posts also come here

as a link!

More traffic to your blog. Neat!

I would like to whittle the “For Certain Do This On

MY BLOGLOG” Down

to the must dos of this for the service list:

BEBO

BLOGGER

DELICIOUS

DIGG

FLICKR

FRIENDSTER

MySpace

SHELFARI

TWITTER

YOUTUBE

These ones are the most trafficed just now,

easiest to get around

and set up, and have great people on them all.

Awesome chances for

us to meet great people.

Then add the rest as you go, never worry about

being behind if you

have these core ones

done in the services area of MyBlogLog.

If you get stuck as to what to do next on MyBlogLog, click

“MyAccount” at the top of the page after you log in, and you will

see this, click it and it will guide you through what to do next:

“To get the full MyBlogLog experience, complete these steps to

achieve profile zen.”

Enjoy;)
